Diabetes Surveillance website is online
The new website on diabetes surveillance at the Robert Koch institute was launched on 14 November 2019, World Diabetes Day. In the future, the website will also publish results from National Diabetes Surveillance in addition to information and updates about the project.
As of 2020, data from core indicators should be available online in interactive charts to provide an overview of diabetes in Germany.
The new website includes:
- Information about the project to develop National Diabetes Surveillance at the Robert Koch Institute as well as background information about diabetes surveillance in Germany
- The comprehensive results from the first project phase published in the first National Diabetes Report
- Information about the methodological approach applied to diabetes surveillance
